Wendell Price Award

The Wendell Price Award for Outstanding Community Service is presented to a squad member who serves his squad and community on a regular basis. This award is for someone who contributes their time by doing routine activities for their organization or always making themselves available for search and rescue operations. In addition, this person might serve the community in other ways, such as teaching CPR or First Responder courses. This award is not for a singular heroic act. The winner of this award will be presented a plaque at the banquet. Runners-up will be awarded a certificate of recognition. Nominations for this award must be received by the association no later than November 1st each year.

Rescuer of the Quarter

The Rescuer of the Quarter Award is awarded quarterly for a squad member who performs an outstanding rescue act that deserves recognition. The winner of this award is presented a plaque at the quarterly meeting. Nominations for this award must be received no later than 10 days prior to the Quarterly Meeting.

Citizen of the Year Award

The Citizen of the Year Award is to recognize someone other than a squad member who has done some outstanding rescue act since the last convention. The winner of this award will be invited to our banquet and will be presented a plaque. Nominations for this award must be received no later than November 1st each year.

Glenn Parris Award
